Role: Core DBA/APPS DBA

Location: Sanjose , CA

Duration : 6-12 months

 

 

Please find below the JD. We are looking for people with RAC experience and good knowledge on Core DB.

 

Core DB Technologies: - (Core DBA/APPS DBA)

1.    Oracle database concepts

2.    Good hands on experience in handling the issues on the core Oracle architectural components

    (Space, Memory, UNDO, Temp, Redo/Archive and other background processes)

3.    Good troubleshooting skills on the DB related issues and errors

4.    SQL Tuning knowledge

5.    Hands on in overall system performance tuning

6.    Statspack and AWR report analysis and interpretation

7.    Hands on in various backup methods and the recovery processes.

8.    Oracle RAC administration and performance analysis

9.    Knowledge on CRS and maintenance

10.    Installation experience on various Oracle database versions

11.    Knowledge on code tree build and maintenance

12.    Knowledge on Oracle RDBMS patching on single node and RAC environments.

13.    Database Cloning/Refresh

 

ERP and Middle Tier Technologies: - (APPS DBA)

14.    Oracle Applications 11i/R12 experience and expertise

15.    Installation experience on Apps 11i & R12

16.    Knowledge in Oracle Work Flow administration

17.    Trouble shooting knowledge in APPS middle tier (iAS), forms and concurrent managers

18.    Parallel Concurrent Process administration (PCP)

19.    Installation and configuration on Oracle iAS servers

20.    Tuning the middle tier layers (Oracle iAS)

21.    Oracle applications tuning

22.    Installation and configuration of BPEL servers.

23.    Knowledge on database, middle tier and apps upgrades

24.    Knowledge on Application patch analysis and installation

25.    Good knowledge on the various application admin utilities (ad utilities)

26.    Cloning/Refresh of Oracle and application environments

27.     Hands on in Single Sign on (SSO)/Identity management (IDM)

 

OS Support:  (Core DBA/APPS DBA)

28.    Good hands on in HP-UX, Linux & Sun Solaris

29.    Knowledge in Perl/Shell scripting
