Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: Pittsburg, PA

Job description:

The primary responsibility of this role, Engineer Software, is to design, develop, test and support the Bayer Healthcare service software tools.

The tools include calibration and diagnostics as well as the Bayer cloud based remote connectivity solutions.

Responsibilities:

•Define requirements for simple designs and material selection;

•Write verification protocols for simple designs and managers;

• Perform the execution of the protocols, analyze results, and write reports;

•Participate in all aspects of the product development life cycle;

•Work closely with the product managers, infrastructure and development teams to help deliver innovative, world-class solutions;

•Design and develop high-quality code exhibiting excellent performance that meets product requirements with a strong focus on scalability, maintainability, and security;

•Have tremendous exposure to a wide range of technologies and business problems you will solve using the latest and greatest technologies.

Required Skills:

•Bachelor's Degree;

•A minimum of 2 – 4 years of experience of software development experience delivering commercial software products;

•Proficiency in Microsoft .NET, C# and the Visual Studio Development suite;

•Knowledge of Web Based Technologies including ASP.NET, PHP, Apache and MySQL;

•Knowledge of client side development frameworks such as HTML5, Javascript, JSON, JQuery;

•Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and in a team environment;

•Ability to work on multiple projects focused on delivery;

•Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
