Title            :             Unix/Linux Admin
Location    :             Town & Country, MO 63017 OR Simpsonville, SC
Duration :             3 months + extensions
Rate: $35 hr. C2C -- MAX

 

Interview: Monday November 11th at 10:00 and 2:00, face-to-face

 

Must-haves
-4+ years of experience working in a Unix support role:

 

Building and troubleshooting servers
Installation of OS and enterprise software onto server
Configuring to the network to server (utilizing TCIP routing protocol)
Maintain server environment after all of the above
-Experience working specifically with at least Redhat Linux version 5.x (newer versions are even better - client currently running 5.7, 5.10 and 6.4)
-Good working knowledge of Solaris 10
-Experience working with LVM, Volume Manager/VCS
-Experience working with Solaris Volume Manager
-MPXIO/MPIO multi-pathing technologies experience
-Good Written and verbal communication
-Experience working with a ticketing system for change management purposes

 

Plusses
-Remedy Ticketing Change Management experience
-Shell scripting experience
-ZFS
-Solaris Zones
-OpenLdap
-RHN Satellite
-Experience with basic VMshell builds and assigning resources
