Job Title:Project Delivery Management
Location: VA/DC area
Duration:2 Years contract
This is a very high level project. Advise that the next step would be a SKPE interview with the business development team.
Project Delivery Management for the implementation of a new CIS (Customer Information System).
PMI-certified Project Delivery Management Professionals (PMPs) with utility CIS implementation project management experience and familiar with the following project management tools:

Responsibilities to include:
1. Establish and manage a formalized project approach to the project.
2. Oversee the delivery of the overall scope of work, coordinating the activities of the Project Director, the System Integrator Project Manager, and other project resources.
3. Develop and maintain a Project Management Plan, including project objectives and success criteria, deliverables, role/responsibilities/contact information, communication protocols, document control methodology, cost management, schedule management and quality management plans.
4. Develop and maintain the overall project milestone schedule and resource management plan.
5. Develop and maintain a Project Risk Management Plan throughout the project life.
6. Facilitation of design sessions, project meetings, status update meetings with the audiences at the line of business, executive and external stakeholder level and will be responsible for assuring meeting minutes are produced and distributed.
7. Advise the Program Management Office regarding the status of budget, schedule and quality by issuance and presentation of a Monthly Project Report. The Project Delivery Manager will advise the Project Director, in a timely manner, of situations which have increased, or may increase the cost of the Project; may cause a delay in the completion of the implementation.
8. Schedule and conduct on-site weekly progress meetings involving the project team and other stakeholders to review, resolve and plan in areas such as budget, schedule and quality. Meeting Minutes will be recorded and distributed, including an Outstanding Action Item Log, detailing the status of key decisions, responsibility and required timing.
9. Review requests for changes, submit written recommendations to the Program Management Office and negotiate Change Orders, with final terms and price subject to approval by the Executive Steering Committee.
10. Ensure project compliance with project management methodology and compliance with ITS and audit requirements.
11. Development of hand-off and support plan for the new CIS solution.
Minimum Requirement
1. The project delivery manager should have minimum of 7 years of project management experience in implementation of major IT projects.
2. The project delivery manager should have minimum of 5 years of project management experience implementing major utility SAP OR Oracle CIS (customer information system) projects.
