Project Managers are responsible and accountable for shepherding projects through the Project Lifecycle. They provide enterprise management for all project related activities and are responsible and accountable for the delivery of a project in accordance with the TDA Project Life Cycle.
Enterprise Project Manager II's provide Project Management for medium/large projects or other projects as assigned. Medium projects are defined as effort requiring 1,000 to 4,000 hours of effort from technology resources and/or expend $25 to 250K capital spend. Large projects or programs are defined as efforts requiring greater than 4,000 hours of effort from technology resources and/or expend greater than $250K capital spend.
Enterprise Project Managers II may also be assigned to programs having some cross work stream dependencies and complexities. Projects are defined as temporary endeavors undertaken to create a unique product, service, or result. Programs are defined as a group of related projects managed in a coordinated way to obtain benefits and control not available from managing them individually.
3-5 years Experience with successfully running diverse cross-functional teams
Minimum of 3-5 years relevant technology and/or financial services experience
Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience
Knowledge or experience with Risk Management, Compliance, or AML initiatives beneficial/preferred
Solid problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
A very in-depth understanding of the PLC
Solid business knowledge as it relates to the brokerage industry, financial and capital markets
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required for interactions across organization
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Proven abilities in organizational change management and leading large groups
Experience in facilitating large group meetings
Experience in presenting to senior management
Experience in establishing project baselines and tracking to the established baselines
Experience in planning for and effectively managing project and program risks
Experience in issues management including identifying, tracking, and resolving/expediting with proactively
Competent in the technical arena and understanding of system development, process improvement, and/or infrastructure
Proficient MS Project Management and MS Office
Experience in working with executives as project sponsors with effective management and communications
Experience in building and forming the right project team resulting in high levels of engagement and active participation
Respectfully challenge the norm and demonstrated ability to improve the process and efficiency of the team
Experience with coaching/mentoring peers and others as appropriate
Exhibits behaviors indicating a focus on goals, overcoming obstacles with the ability to exhibit respect and promoting teamwork

Provide Project Management for large/medium projects and or programs and maintain Enterprise Project plans

Interface with business owners to understand their needs and secure appropriate project buy-in/sign-off throughout Life Cycle
Ensure functional and technical solutions are accepted by the appropriate project role prior to development
Ensure that projects are phased as required by the TDA Project Life Cycle
Seek and review input from cross functional team and make final decisions regarding project scope
Identify, track, and resolve/escalate project issues and/or risks
Ensure project managers and project team members follow the TDA PLC
Conduct re-planning exercises to correct troubled projects to get the project and it's efforts back in control
Innovation: generate new ideas and/or new ways to implement the ideas
Manages and influence individuals as required to achieves goals of projects or program
Facilitate decision on final go/no-go decision
Ensure alignment of the projects to the entire Portfolio and ensure consistency and coordinated delivery of projects
