Position Description:
We are looking for a strong oracle developer and technical lead to contribute in database applications development within data management space. Excellent coding and performance tuning skills adhering to established database development standards are critical to succeed in this role. The candidate must have sound communication skills, be able to comprehend business requirements, translate them into technical design specs and apply the same in the development process. We are seeking a highly motivated and responsive team player who is able to multi-task, be a technical lead and work under minimal supervision.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Database Development, primarily in Oracle PL/SQL
• Create Technical specs, Unit test cases, Transition and Op-docs
• Serve as technical lead

Skills and Knowledge:
• Proven experience (min 5 years) in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Experience in ETL tools such as Informatica is a must
• Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting, Perl programming and Autosys job scheduler skills are strongly plus. A working knowledge of programming languages (Java/C++) is a plus.
• Experience with a structured application development methodology, preferably AGILE or SCRUM.
• Ability to clearly interpret business requirements into efficient code and communicate results.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
