Position 1: Hyperion Administrator

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: Negotiable

 

Primary role of this position is to provide Installation, deployment, maintenance, support and administration of the Hyperion and Essbase Application Suite.

Accountabilities: 

•         Coordination and management of the Hyperion system infrastructure lifecycle phases, including planning, design, installation, testing, implementation, maintenance and support

•         Provide administration and configuration support of the Change Management Applications and tools leveraged by the development and Application support staff

•         Coordination and application of patches and system upgrades

•         Monitor, analyze and tune Hyperion/Essbase system performance

•         Provide input regarding technical infrastructure and system configuration for Hyperion/Essbase

•         Develop testing, evaluation, & development processes for system changes, modifications, or enhancements to software

•         Provide business continuity and disaster recovery solutions for the Hyperion environment, including: disaster recovery testing, backups, and recovery policies and procedures

•         Establish Hyperion system and operational policies and procedures

•         Work interdependently with technical infrastructure teams, application teams, and business units to ensure service delivery is meeting business objectives

•         Work with security teams to ensure system access, auditing, and security controls are in place and compliant to security policy

•         Meet financial requirements by working with department leadership to submit information for budgets and regularly monitor expenses

•         Creating and maintaining thorough and complete technical documentation of the Business Intelligence & Hyperion Systems

•         Stay current with job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, & participating in professional organizations

•         Provide mentoring and cross-training to peers and interdependent team members

Qualifications: (Specific for this job)*

•             3-5 Years of System Administration experience in ODI, Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion HFM/DRM/FDM/FQDM is required.

•             Experience in ODI administration and understanding of ODI workflow/mappings.

•             Excellent understanding of Hyperion application architecture, including infrastructure, table structure, design standards, protocols, and delivered objects.

•             Expertise with Hyperion system tools for monitoring, testing, performance tuning, and debugging.

•             Experience with Web Technologies: Microsoft IIS, JBOSS, Java, Apache Web Server and Weblogic is preferred.

•             Strong experience and knowledge in relational database technologies and administration, preferably MS SQL Server and Oracle.

•             Fundamental understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory & network technologies is important.

•             Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as written and oral communication skills.

•             Excellent analytical, design, and organizational skills, with strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities.

•             Manage time efficiently with the capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

•             Educational requirements include –

o             Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

•             Hyperion certification preferred.

•             Experience with high levels of accountability; demonstrated initiative and innovation, flexibility, and ability to manage workload and achieve results with minimal supervision.

Position 2: Hyperion Essbase Upgrade (Migration Project)

Location: Pleasanton, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: Negotiable

 

Job Description for– Migration Project

1.       Provide recommendations to Customer on Up gradation  & also lead the Migration Project from Onsite for the following:-         

a.       Essbase 6.x/7.x/9.x to 11.x with change of OS from Windows to Linux with Exalytics Server

b.      Upgrade of HFM/FDM/DRM from 11.1.1.2 to 11.1.2.3 with Database Upgrade included therein

c.       Provide  Suggestions to the Customer on the Hyperion Product Compatibility

2.       Co-ordination with the Infrastructure Team for validating the Software Specifications ( Both Hyperion & Third Party ) in connection with the aforementioned Migration Project

3.       Managing the Offshore Migration Project Team.

 

 

Position 3: HFM/FDM Administrator

Location: Open to relocate (Florida)

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: Negotiable

 

HFM/FDM Administrator with 5 plus years of experience in the following:

•         Analyze, Design, Develop, and Deploy complex Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Applications on the System 11.1.2.1 or 11.1.2.2 platform

•         Possess expert knowledge in the following areas to support HFM

o    HFM Rules Development and ability to document including:

     Consolidation

     Currency Translation

     Intercompany Eliminations

o    Metadata design

o    Member lists

o    Intercompany Eliminations

o    Security Filters (Design and implementation)

o    FDM (Design + integration with HFM)

•         Possess Intermediate to expert software development experience

o    Solid grasp of the SDLC, including Test plans, code migration, requirements, and design.

•         Have Intermediate to expert knowledge on the following EPM Suite modules

o    Financial Reports

o    SmartView

o    Shared Services   

o    Possess expert knowledge with Financial Data Quality Management (FDM)

o    FDM Location setup and configuration

o    FDM Mapping and Validation Rules Development

•         Experience implementing Oracle's Quantitative Management Reporting  (QMR) for Solvency II Solution is desired

•         Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VB, Access, and Project

 

Functional

•         Prior experience and understanding of corporate close and financial consolidation process

Solid understanding of accounting concepts, techniques, and principles

 

 

Position 4 & 5: Hyperion Architect & Techno-Functional - 2 positions

Location: Indiana

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: Negotiable

 

• General understanding of corporate finance and technical business solutions

• Experience with the OracleEPM/Hyperion BI+ toolset:

• Hyperion Essbase

• Hyperion Reporting

• Hyperion Planning,

• Hyperion Financial Management

• Lead the data and requirements analysis, design, implementation and planning process. Perform hands-on tasks as required, typically in areas of high complexity. Provide technical architecture guidance for Oracle EPM/Hyperion Essbase projects.

• Employ financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and management reporting knowledge and past experiences to architect optimal planning solutions incorporating leading practices in areas that include: business and finance strategy, target setting, profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting, key performance metrics, driver-based planning, and rolling forecast

• Configure HP/Essbase application components, including optimal dimension configuration, business rule / calc script customization, web forms / task list definition, Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio reports, Smart View templates, and HFM rules customization in line with business, functional and performance requirements

 

 

 

Position 6: Hyperion Planning/EPMA Architect

Location: Mason, Ohio

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: Negotiable

Well verse in all phased of SDLC

Position 7: Hyperion Planning/EPMA Techno Functional

Location: Mason, Ohio

5+Years of Hyperion Planning/EPMA,

Position 8: HFM Lead

Location: Columbus , Indianapolis

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: Negotiable

 

"Background on Hyperion space at

•         EPM Implementation and Support is done by different vendor now (will be replacing this vendor) - have onsite and offshore presence

•         Cummins has very good business SMEs, BU Representatives are depth on Hyperion Enterprise

•         HFM implementation is pretty stable

•         Current version 11.1.2.2

•         Cummins has one contractor (not from Vendor) EPM Consulting Lead  – takes care of application architect, infrastructure recommendation etc.

•         Business SMEs are the first level of support

•         Support vendor is secondary support – very low number tickets

•         Support resources have lot of time, they do work in enhancements and project activities

•         Cummins has very good HFM implementation side, not yet explored on Planning side yet

•         Current vendor team (will replace this team) has 2 onsite and 2 offshore. One onsite lead is taking care of HFM, Planning, Essbase etc and the other resource focus on           “Integration” (mainly ODI).

•   Configures Hyperion, leads fit/gap session, and designs, builds, tests the solution
