Job Title: .Net Architect

Location: Hopewell, NJ

Duration: 12 months

 

Job Description:

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and communicate detailed technology architecture and implementation solution strategies
• Translate business objectives into application architecture and design
• Participate in and oversee the creation and maintenance of complex systems and applications
• Lead and mentor technical development teams
• Define, communicate and promote best practices and industry standards and processes across development teams.
• Perform architecture, design, and code reviews
• Design and create software frameworks and accelerators

 

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years' experience working as a Software/Application Architect using .NET, C# and ASP.NET
• Expertise in ASP.NET MVC, WCF, WWF, JQuery, JSON, JavaScript and HTML5
• Knowledge of Workflow and Rules engines
• Expertise in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Application Integration(EAI)
• Expertise in Object Oriented Analysis (OOA), Object Oriented Design (OOD), Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Unified Modeling Language (UML), and software design patterns.
• In depth experience with iterative solution development
• Expertise in software performance engineering and optimization
• Ability to evaluate new frameworks and technologies
• Deep understanding of relational database systems, including data modeling and database optimization
• Knowledge of No SQL database systems

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the Financial Services domain

Job Level Specific Duties

• Supports large and critical software applications within the organization.
• Viewed as a technical expert or advisor for one or more applications. 
• Participates on (and may lead) projects where analysis of systems or data requires an in-depth evaluation of complex business process, system process, and industry standards.
• Regularly mentors and reviews work of less experienced team members.
• Executes schedules, costs and documentation to ensure assigned projects come to successful conclusion.
• Initiates corrective action to stay on project schedules.

Typical Years of Experience

• Typically requires 6-8 years relevant experience.

Minimum Education and Certifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 
• Graduate degree preferred.

Skills

• Possesses and applies broad knowledge of applications programming principles.
• Competent to analyze diverse and complex problems. 
• Competent to work in all phases of applications programming. 
• Knowledge includes advanced work on standard applications programs including coding, testing and debugging. 
• Advanced ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors.
• Advanced understanding of how technology decisions relate to business needs.

Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions

• Ability to physically perform general office requirements. 
• Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Significant travel including overnight domestic or international trips may be required.
