Title: Oracle DBA

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 18 Months

Description:

Responsible for administering and supporting the RDBMS and its related products and technologies. This position must lead, influence, mentor and work well in a team environment. As a member of a team, this position will ensure high standards for RDBMS availability and performance as well as provide and maintain database standards, best practices, procedures, processes, and guidelines. Position will be doing heavy amounts of deep analysis and researching over 2000 instances of Oracle. The environment is primarily 10g and 11g with a few remaining tables still in 9i. Will work on various projects scheduled throughout the year (nearly 30). The position will involve 20% Support
 
Required Skills:
• Heavy Performance Tuning Experience, Oracle 10G, 11G is a must
• Rman for backup
• Deep and strong Analysis
• Automatics Storage Management (ASM)
• Excellent Communication Skills
