Job Title: Hadoop Support Engineer / Administrator

Duration: San Jose, CA (Locals Only)

Duration: 1 year contract

Job Description:

·         1-3 years' hands-on experience supporting Hadoop and related technologies such as HDFS, MapReduce, HBase, and Hive.

·         Strong experience in LINUX/UNIX systems administration, tools and file system concepts

·         Experience in UNIX based scripting language, preferably Python, Perl or shell.

·         Good verbal and written communication in English including writing sound technical documentation. 

·         Hadoop Developer Certification (Hortonworks/Cloudera) is preferred
