Job Description:
Mandatory Skills: Oracle , PL SQL
Desired Skills: Performance tuning
The candidate must be good in Oracle development to assist the team with coding in PL/SQL and SQL as well as tuning and testing in support of multiple project initiatives.

• Ability to problem solve
• Should be able to coach and guide the team at offshore
• Idea on Project Management
Technical Skills:
• To technically lead software projects through all stages of the life cycle, including responsibilities for
• Requirements capture
o Low Level Design
o Leading Development Team
o Acceptance testing
o The candidate needs to have expertise in ORACLE PL/SQL and SQL
o Oracle 10g and 11g Developer Experience
o Knowledge on SQL Tuning and PL/SQL optimization
o Code Refactoring and Reuse
o The candidate will need a working knowledge of Unix and Korn shell and Bourne shell scripting
• To produce quality technical documentation for client
• To decompose technical tasks and provide estimates
• To coach less experienced members of the team
• To understand and adhere to technical processes such as code reviews.
• To monitor progress and provide updates to the stakeholders
Responsibilities:
Work independently in the coding and testing of PL/SQL code in an Oracle 10g and 11g environment
• Should be able to handle and guide the offshore team
• Implement design specs accurately
• Provide detailed analysis and recommendations to the Application leads
• Implement recommended design changes, unit tests and regression tests for both
• Performance and data integrity
• Document all changes made
• Delivering results in a quality environment.
• Experienced Candidates should have a level of technical lead experience commensurate with the role.
• Must include at least 10 years post graduate hands-on technical experience, which should include technical lead roles for minimum of either 2 years or 2 big full cycle projects.
