Title: SAP Basis Consultant

Location: Lee's Summit, MO

Duration: 12+ months – long term

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Configure, administer and support SAP Portal systems, SAP BW/ECC, responsible for the setup and connectivity to data providing systems such as ECC.

Hands-on administration and configuration experience of the SAP Enterprise Portal including Content Management (CM), Knowledge Management (KM) and Portal Bran ding.

Understanding of ABAP backend dependencies and configuration steps such as Adobe Document Services (ADS)

Understanding of the User Management Engine (UME) and Universal Worklist (UWL)

Understanding of the NetWeaver Developer Infrastructure (NWDI) & NetWeaver Composition Environment (CE)

Knowledge of SAP Enterprise Portal development techniques including WebDynpro Java, WebDynpro ABAP, JSPs, BSPs, AJAX and others.

Knowledge of SSL configuration, Web Dispatcher setup and SAP portal federation framework.

NetWeaver Portal 7.0-7.3 installation, administration & troubleshooting including Java Support Pack Manager (JSPM), ADS, ESS/MSS Business Packs configuration and RFC & JCo destinations

Experience with MSS workflows, ESS&MSS SAP user exits.

Experience in developing or changing SAP application

Deep SAP technical expert knowledge in Portal,  Java Web Dynpro, HCM forms and processes with deep experience in SAP Enhancement framework(User Exits) RFC, Ob ject Oriented Programming, Print forms(SAPScripts/Smartforms/Adobe forms), ALV reporting and Performance fine tuning.

Ability to interpret and document end-user process support and information needs and to implement appropriate solutions to address those needs.

Demonstrated ability to explain technology issues and work progress to both technical and non-technical staff.

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
