Job Description:

This is view on what is needed . We need a back-end profiles with very good Java / J2EE programming and experience in RESTful Web services, HTTP, Spring core, Spring MVC, Spring Web, Spring JPA libraries

· Comcast is looking for someone who is strong on Core Java backend, server side.

· The person should be an web architect with development background.

· Linux, Unix Operating systems knowledge

· Comcast has started an online movie purchase, this is a new feature they have included for their subscribers. They call it Electronics pay online. For this feature implementation they need is on Web backend.

· STB / DTV Domain expertise is not required, as the front end development / UI is taken care by a different team and that is already implemented.

· Strong java developers with minimal hand holding.

Skills:

· 10 years hands on experience in architecting and developing enterprise solutions using JAVA/JAVA EE

· BS/BE in Computer Science or equivalent experience

· A demonstrable Core JAVA (minimum version 6) and JAVA EE background in delivering enterprise solutions

· Intensive knowledge of Object design, Design patterns, and Algorithms

· Experience developing high performance software

· Experience developing software for RESTful Web services, HTTP, and TCP/IP

· Experience with Spring core, Spring MVC, Spring Web, Spring JPA libraries

· Experience in RDBMS (Oracle DB)

· Experience working with Version Control Software (SVN / GIT) and Continuous Integration

· Experience working with MAVEN

· Familiarity with MOM

· Familiarity with Agile process
