Position:  ETL Developer  (PREFER USC/GREEN CARDS)

Duration: 12+ month

Location:  Erie, PA

Interview Mode:  Phone Interview and onsite Interview

 

 

Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science, or equivalent, required.

·         8-10+ years of previous experience in technical applications and/or information systems, or equivalent, required.

·          In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle including systems design, programming techniques, and technical documentation required.

·         Strong knowledge of technical and business aspects of application software required.

·         In-depth knowledge of programming languages required.

 

Job Details:

The ETL developer we are looking for needs to be able to do these immediate tasks:
- Convert an existing SQL process (series of SQL stored procedures) that extracts data from MDM and populates an existing set of staging tables. These staging tables are then read by the TDI tool (by the TDI developer) to be populated into ADLDS.
- There are two types of load (with variations in business rules) – An initial load and an ongoing daily sync.
- On an ongoing basis adapt the solution to accommodate new business rules, new attributes, changed staging table structure
- Ensure performance metrics are within the SLAs

 

Required Skills:
- 7+ years experience in ETL with IBM DataStage – experience needs to include version 8.5
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Experienced in SQL
- Technical design experience within software development lifecycle
- DB2, Oracle database experience as source and target
