Responsibilities
Documenting features, fixes and enhancements to support all phases of implementation, utilization and support.
Designing and developing basic reports and extracts.
Coordinating the preparation and executing test plans to validate that system fixes are complete and accurate and that system enhancements function as designed.
Creates and maintains accurate business requirements, data mapping documents and other supporting documents
Provides succinct situation summaries of evolving issues.
Effective facilitation of meetings.
Makes presentations to vendors, staff, site managers and customers. Provides leadership and guidance in working with others to identify, analyze and resolve application, technical and procedural problems.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree and 2 years industry related experience OR Associate degree and 4 years of industry related experience OR 6 years of industry related experience.
In-depth understanding of the assigned applications functions, including tables, parameters, master files, and database structure in system(s) supported and a basic understanding of the interaction/integration/effect on interfaced systems and a basic understanding of impact to/from external systems (i.e., vendors, banks, government agencies, etc.).
Ability to take the initiative in addressing and solving procedural, functional and communications related issues.
Ability to perform analysis on issues related to the FACETS system
Understands client/server and host-based systems as demonstrated by:
Articulating what implications this poses to analyst for problem solving.
Articulating verbally and/or in writing the pros and cons for this approach.
Knowledge of how systems are utilized within the context of the network and how supported applications interact
Has the knowledge and the understanding of operations in an environment similar to the client’s – familiar with the specific platform they are working with
Demonstrated knowledge of multiple client/server systems or FACETS subsystems
Ability to function as an on-call resource
Healthcare industry experience
