Position: .Net Developer

Location:Raleigh, NC

Duration:1 year

 

Our client is seeking to fill a short term contractor assignment to assist in the development applications for claim intake and reporting from Oracle 10g and 11g databases. This work will be completed under the direction and guidance of permanent staff. Responsibilities will include: • Writing and optimizing Stored Procedures and Data Access functions for Oracle 10g and 11g databases. • Design and development of new web applications. Creation of graphical user interfaces and code development that addresses the business need in the agreed-upon time frame • Developing time estimates and identifying project milestones

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

Selected candidate must possess the following: • Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience with .NET 3.5. • Minimum of 5 (five) years of solid web application development experience with n-tier applications using ASP.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET, HTML, Javascript and web-services. • Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in writing Stored Procedures and Data Access functions for Oracle 10g • Experience with developing applications that process large data volumes. • Experience in developing business services objects • Experience in the design of web sites and the use of GUI tools • Proven communications, both written and verbal • Ability to take direction • Ability to work independently or as part of a team on assigned tasks

 

Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in developing .NET applications for claims related activities of DES.
