US CONSULTING - CONTRACT urgent requirement for NetWork Test Engineer@ San Jose, CA

We have an urgent requirement for NetWork Test Engineer  from one of our  Direct clients; please find the Job Description below

JOB1 

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 6 -12months

Start: ASAP

 

Requirement 1:Automation Testing

Need 4 + years of experience on Routing and switching protocol testing.

Experience with Layer 2 and 3 protocols

Be able to read and understand the TCL/Expect scripts.

Good to have MPLS knowledge 

 

Requirement 2 Manual Testing

Skills: 

4-5 years of practical networking experience. 
Experience with Layer2 protocols such as Spanning Tree, Rapid Spanning Tree (RSTP) 802.1w, VLANs, VSRP, etc 

Experience with Layer 3 protocols. 
Experience with Testing Switches/Routers. 
The candidate must possess problem solving skills in the diagnosis and resolution of customer issues. 
Good to have scripting experience.
