Location : Pittsburgh, PA

Duration : 1+ year

EAD, GC or Citizen

Years of Work Experience: 4+

 

Personal Skills Required:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language are required.   Ability to independently research and solve technical issues Ability to meet targeted deadlines with minimal supervision Ability to follow and support company standards for design, development, implementation and documentation Must be able to follow safe job procedures

 

Technical Skills Required:

Two years prior experience performing security administration of Oracle e-Business Suite. Comprehensive knowledge of the Technical Architecture of eBS.

 

Additional Skills/Qualities Not Required but would be a Plus:

Prior experience as an Oracle eBS DBA Prior experience as an Oracle eBS system administrator

 

Description:

Expected Length of Assignment:

1+ year

Brief Description of Assignment:

Associated with the Oracle e-Business Suite implementation at U. S. Steel, the candidate will: Provision access Design and develop roles, menus and functions Coordinate testing Troubleshoot issues Support internal controls   Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Defining new users Resetting user passwords Managing password expiration settings Linking employee records Managing user effective dates Assigning / disabling responsibilities Managing responsibility effective dates Creating / assigning / disabling roles Defining new menus Modifying existing menus Understanding menu / submenu / function relationships Creating new request groups Assigning application / program / request set / RICE objects Coordinating with other internal teams to map RICE objects Defining new security profiles Understanding security profiles Performing segregation of duties / sensitive access analysis at the role level Coordinating with DBAs to create instance sets / permissions / permission sets Managing assignment of custom functions to menus Managing SR process on Metalink Coordinating tasks with ERP project consultants Performing unit testing and resolution of segregation of duties conflicts Promoting concepts of role based security, sensitive data handling and privileged user management Addressing common audit issues such as building an audit trail, SQL forms risks and controls and user access controls risks/issues.
