Position : Sr.Wordpress Developer
Location : NYC
Duration : 6 Months + extension
- Can write WordPress plugins from scratch, including experience with advanced CMS-related functionality: multi-site, custom post types, custom metadata, and how to work with them
- Comfortable integrating 3rd party APIs with WordPress
- Great with PHP and love to write organized, clean code
- Able to interpret design guidance and wireframes and collaborate with our design team
- Familiarity with open source technology and the free culture movement
Bonus attributes
- Good with CSS and WordPress themes, including child themeing and understanding of modern concepts such as responsive design
- Understanding on i18n/l10n support for WordPress. If you have built multi-language content support onto WordPress, that is a major plus!
- Experience with operations and server configuration management (e.g. git, gerrit, puppet) a plus
