Job Title:Linux Systems Administrator / Linux Systems Engineer

Location:San Antonio, TX 

Duration: 3 Year Contract

The Linux Administrator / Linux Engineer will be with the client for YEARS to come.

MUST HAVE

1. RED HAT LINUX

2. REPLICATION

3. VIRTUALIZATION (VMWARE)

Client has an immediate opening for a CM Replication System Engineer/Administrator in San Antonio, Texas.  The successful candidate must have excellent Linux technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills, previous experience with hardware and supporting complex systems that are deployed nationally.  The chosen candidate will have proven experience in Linux systems administration and extensive VMware Virtualization experience; a working knowledge of Informix database administration and Project Management experience.

High skill level and experience is required for the following:

• Linux System administration skills (Red Hat).

• Extensive VMware Virtualization experience – design, installation, and administration.

Medium skill level and experience is required for the following:

• Database (Informix).

• Developing project management standards, ensuring project management procedures are followed, and completing project documents.

• Preparing formal written technical content for the development, implementation, and management of projects.

• Overseeing, coordinating, and monitoring IT systems development and testing efforts, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and as planned.

Low skill level and experience is required for the following:

• Hardware support skills (HP Blades and Hitachi Storage).
