Job Title: Datastage Architect

Location: Northbrook IL
Duration: 3+ Months

Hire: ASAP

Requirements:

Ø  Must have previous experience Architecting, Designing & implementing Data Stage/ETL solutions inclusive of:

·         Datastage 8.5/Parallel Edition

·         Must have Exp preparing "steering & driving the right strategic choices" used for completing standards documents around best practice use of data stage technology. Should be adept in the following areas:

·         Coding and code review standards around data stage

ü  Source to target mapping

ü  Contribute/Participate in all data mapping meetings.

ü  Perform the work to map the client's data to target tables

ü  Strong ability to perform data analysis

ü  Supports loading the client data into the database

ü  Participate in test plans (unit/systems/integration)

·         Technology standards around data stage

·         Best practices with development tools

·         Unit testing standards around data stage

·         Test driven development methodology with data stage

Ø  Attention to detail is imperative. Position requires routinely looking beyond what is requested to create greater value and process efficiency

Ø  Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.

Ø  Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator (sales oriented in approach). Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project.
