US CONSULTING - CONTRACT Looking for C# .Net developer, Boston, MA

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 6 months

 

Currently only considering candidates located in the North East US

 

The core Development team is currently working on a system that provides the functionality to support Portfolio Modeling & Analytics, Compliance, Trading, Operations, and Data Management.

Responsibilities:

• Developing high-quality code on schedule, based on a technical design.
• Performing unit testing and working closely with our QA team supporting system testing and bug resolution.
• Contributing to the development community by researching new technology and development tools.
• Participating in design of new features and functionality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• Development experience in C# or .NET.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design and programming.
• Experience with multi threading and multi threaded applications a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with SQL Server, Networking, and the investment industry is HIGHLY attractive.
