Position : Business Analyst 

Location : NYC

Duration : 3-6 Months

Must Have program governance project Experience and  Needs very strong presentation skills

Client is looking for an experience Business Analyst from the financial services/insurance industry with experience in the traditional business analysis discipline as well as experience with process mapping and re-design.  Background with rating agencies and/or financial products is preferred.  This position is in New York City to work at our client location.

Major Job Objectives

• Work as part of a larger project team to document the current state of an organization, architecture, and business processes.  Assist in maintaining project documentation including meeting minutes, diagrams and schematics, process maps.
• Define project vision, features, and develop user stories

Desired Skills & Experience

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as hands-on business analyst
• Experience as a consultant is preferred but not required
• Expertise with documenting requirements, functional specifications, process mapping, process re-design
• Strong systems integration experience
• Experience with data analysis, data programs
• Expertise in relational data models, meta data a plus
• Experience with Agile methodologies a plus
• Demonstrated proficiency with Visio and Microsoft Office suite of products
