Senior Network Engineer

3-4 months (could extend or with the possibility of going full time)

Job Description:

May have the opportunity to help manage the data centers.

 

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements:

•              5 years demonstrate Project Management experience in network engineering and administration

•              10 years experience designing, deploying, managing WAN/LAN

•              Must have current CCNA or CCNE

•              5 years experience supporting/maintaining HP Procurve Switches

•              5 years experience supporting/maintaining VLANs

•              10 years experience supporting/maintaining Fiber connectivity

•              10 years experience supporting/maintaining Firewall

•              10 years experience supporting/maintaining Networking monitoring tools

•              10 years experience supporting/maintaining Enterprise-grade Wireless Access Points

•              5 years experience supporting/maintaining converged Voice and Data network

•              5 years experience deploying and supporting QoS

•              Strategic thinking, Senior Level, Dynamic

Existing tools technologies used:

Switches:

HP, Procurve

VLAN

Firewall:

Barracuda, Cisco

Networking monitoring tools:

Solarwinds

Enterprise-grade Wireless Access Points:

Aerohive, hive manager

VoIP solution:

Avaya

 

Notes:

High-level network engineer required.

The following work examples created by the candidate also need to be provided:

1.            Network design document

2.            IP Addressing Schema/Plan

3.            Project plan for network deployment
