Position: Senior Network Engineer

Location: NYC, NY (Need Local Consultant)

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Requirements:

Client Profile:
The client is a large cable and satellite television network in NYC that values small teams who work with a start-up mentality. They are consistently viewed as an exciting place to work, and offers an excellent location in Midtown Manhattan!

 Responsibilities:

·  Design, implement, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot data network

·  Monitor bandwidth use and analyze traffic patterns and volumes

·  Evaluate, test, and recommend hardware, software, and diagnostic tools

·  Interact with IT application groups to recommend effective protocol configurations

·  Provide Level 3 technical support

·  Take action on security notifications and vulnerabilities

·  Review and update network documentation

·  Mentor junior team members

 Required Skills

·  Cisco IOS, NX-OS, Wireless

·  Firewall systems (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, LPN, GTN, SSL VPN)

·  F5 Load Balancing

·  Familiarity with VoIP phone systems
