Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Augusta, ME

 

Must have 10+ years of experience

 

Job Overview:

This position will be supporting the Bureau of Alcoholic Beverage and Lottery department.  Candidates should have a very strong understanding of PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms AND Oracle Forms and Reports 11g.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.   Strong migration knowledge as this application is a Client Server application in Oracle 6i and will be migrating to a web based application Oracle 11g - this migration exp is a must have!!!!

-Years of Relevant Experience: 10 plus years

-Good working knowledge of Oracle 10g and higher.

-Role Description: All roles specified in PR5 plus the following:

• Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL.

 Advance knowledge of Oracle Forms 11g and Oracle Reports 11g.

 Advance knowledge of MS Access, Oracle and Lotus spreadsheets.

 Good knowledge of Crystal Reports.

 Working knowledge of Active Server Pages (ASP)

 Database design - good working knowledge of Rdbms

• Proven ability to collaborate with business users, project managers, and technical architects.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to work autonomously.

 

OS:  Unix and Linux

PROGRAMMING LANG/DVLPMT TOOLS:    PL/SQL, Oracle Forms 11g, Oracle Reports 11g, shell scripting.

HARDWARE:

DB SYSTEMS/ TOOLS:   Oracle 11g

FRAMEWORKS/SLDS/METHODOLOGIES:   Agile

QA/TESTING-APPROACHES, APPS:
