US CONSULTING - CONTRACT Weblogic Administrator required !!!!

Hello, 

 

Please find the following requirement from our client.

Title: Weblogic Administrator
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6+ months – long term

Scripting Skills:

Linux Shell, awk, sed, Perl

Nice to have Python knowledge

Basic Oracle SQL scripting

  

Language

Nice to have basic Java skill

Linux System admin

Basic Linux admin skills and some support experience required managing linux servers.

Basic networking concepts

Basic SSH/OpenSSL/https/Linux security concepts.

  

Application Servers

WebLogic, Apache setups, Tomcat Weblogic SOA concepts & setups

Nice to have Weblogic Admin Certification, ESB Server setup and other WebLogic add-on components

Experience in other App server management will be a bonus

Performance tuning concepts of WebLogic, Tomcat & Apache

  

Support (After go live)

Should be able to handle about 30 VM servers and take lead in making sure servers are up and running 24X7

 

Others

Should be 100% hands-on and will have to do all task alone until go live.

Need to provide help with Load test of Apps, Come up with stats and reports on server and App performance

Co-ordinate with App developers, India team

Need to work with Cisco sysadmin, Network folks and other support folks
