Build and Release Lead.
Location: Orange County CA
Duration : 12+ month
Job Roles / Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for leading the ALM team responsible for the delivery of high quality
.Net applications being developed on n-tier and service-oriented architectures.
You will work on multiple, medium to large scale technical projects at a time and will provide ALM guidance to project teams.
Essential Functions:
*Responsible for Build & Release Management,
Installation and Deployment, Source Code Control, Security Management,
Configuration Management and Change Management.
*Increase the productivity, reliability and service levels of the
ALM team by evaluating the current ALM processes and procedures and
implementing improvements based on new technology and industry best
practices.
*Responsible for the automated installation and deployment of the
applications suites. This includes the installation of custom software
application as well as customizations and configuration for third party
software packages.
*Must have a strong background with release engineering,
installation technologies, source control systems, configuration management
and change management.
* 8+ years of experience with delivery of Microsoft applications or
equivalent
Proficiency with the following:
* Team Foundation Server
* Windows Installer XML (WiX)
* Microsoft Web Deploy
* Microsoft Windows Server
* Microsoft Visual Studio
* Microsoft SQL Server
*Proactive issue resolution with a positive attitude
Educational Requirements:
* B.S. degree or above in Computer Science or related degree is required
* Relevant professional certifications are preferred
