Job Title: ETL Developer
Location: Northbrook IL
Duration: 3+ Months Contract
Data Warehouse ETL Development skills like
Data profiling, analysis & modeling
Writing source to target mappings, ETL process flows, documenting joins, filters and transformations
Writing and executing ETL jobs to manipulate and move data from disparate systems into star or snowflake data warehouse schema
Troubleshooting test scripts, SQL queries, ETL jobs, data warehouse/data mart/data store models
Clearly & accurately reporting development issues
Industry & Functional Knowledge Like:
The difference between relational and dimensional databases
Basic data warehouse design, development, testing & deployment
Integrating large and disparate sets of data from CRM systems and external data vendors in a data warehouse
Knowledge & understanding of pharmaceutical sales practices & technologies
Knowledge & understanding of pharmaceutical sales datasets, formats & vendors (like IMS, Metamedia, Wolters Kluwer)
Experience with CRM, BI & QA Tools Like:
DB2,Netezza,Teradata,Exadata, Aginity,Greenplum,Aster,Vertica,Oracle,Pentajo Kettle, Informatica,Data StageVeeva ,Salesforce.com, Siebel, Cegedim Dendrite
Cognos, Business Objects, Microstrategy, Tableau, SPSS, Qlikview
Experience in Languages Like:
Any SQL Dialect
.NET/C#/Java
JavaScript/Ajax/HTML
May have held titles like:
