US CONSULTING - CONTRACT Need:Oracle Systems Analyst, NY

Oracle Systems Analyst
Duration: 6+ months
Location: NYC, New York

Minimum Requirements:

·         Strong Oracle background

·         Documentation skills

·         upgrade experience with Oracle from 10G to 11G

·         Must also know Unix

·         Financial Services exp is a big +

 

Description:

- Experience with Oracle 10g and Oracle 11g
- Prior experience performing upgrades from Oracle 10g to Oracle 11gR2
- Expert experience in PL/SQL
- Intermediate skill with Unix and Shell Scripting
- Intermediate skill with Perl scripting
- Basic skill with Java programming
- Working knowledge of PACE and Autosys preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
- Ability to work with minimal guidance or oversight
- Strong sense of accountability
- Innovative and capable of making strategic design recommendations to improve infrastructure
- Ability to communicate clearly with both systems and non-systems personnel
- Strong documentation skills
